Yukihiro Murakami
I usually go by Yuki (pronounced “U-Key”).
I am a tenured Assistant Professor in the Discrete Mathematics and Optimization group in the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics, at the TU Delft. I am interested in applications of combinatorics and algorithms in mathematical phylogenetics.

Short CV
I received my PhD from Delft University of Technology in 2021, with a thesis on phylogenetic encodings and orchard networks. Before that, I obtained my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics at the University of Oxford in 2017.
